Although Larry and Linda Miskel are not native Hermannites, they quickly have established themselves to be part of the strong fiber of Hermann. Both are from small towns, and although they have lived in cities, much prefer the quiet stability of small-town living.

Collectively, they have lived in 7 states, but after spending some great weekends at a Hermann bed and breakfast, they thought this could be the life for them. They began to search for the perfect property. They wanted a historic home with land enough to support their love of gardening and entertaining. What they got is a real jewel meeting all their needs plus accommodating their love of golf by being a mere three miles from the local golf club.

“Larry and Linda are exceptional people! Their kindness and hospitality are second to none…”

Larry and Linda are very social people and love welcoming guests into their home. Their love for Hermann and its people is contagious. They will help their guests to find the total enjoyment of Hermann, whether it be from a historical point of view, a winery visit, shopping the eclectic mix of shops, or simply relaxing on their patio watching the world go by. Don’t even think about missing breakfast! Linda and Larry love to cook and presents their specialties with a home-style touch.

Both Miskels are community-minded, positive people that work tirelessly to help not only Hermann but the entire Gasconade County area. Larry is a three-time mayor of Hermann and is currently serving his second term as Presiding Commissioner of Gasconade County. Both are board members of the Hermann Chamber of Commerce, and Linda also serves on the Hermann Tourism Commission.

They invite you to come for the first time and then plan your return visits…over and over again.

“…both knowledgeable about the community and gave us great recommendations. We can’t wait to come back.”
